The compact untethered option

Ohme ePod

A small untethered unit that takes your own cable. Same Ohme smart-tariff support as the Home Pro in a more discreet box, so it suits a front elevation or a tight wall.

  • Untethered, so nothing hangs on the wall between charges and any cable fits
  • One of the smallest units on the market, about the size of a paperback
  • Talks directly to Intelligent Octopus Go, EDF and other smart tariffs

The one to pick when the parking space is a long way from the wall. A tether up to 10m, and a choice of white, black or grey so it can be made to disappear against the house.

  • Tether in 5m, 7.5m or 10m, the longest of the chargers we fit
  • Cable stays on the unit, so there is nothing to fetch from the boot in the rain
  • White, black or grey, so it can be matched to the wall rather than stuck on it
  • Solar compatible with the Hypervolt solar sensor added, so surplus from the panels goes to the car instead of the grid
  • Built-in PEN fault protection, no separate earth rod needed on most homes
  • 3 year manufacturer warranty

Best for: The longest tether, and anyone who wants the unit to match the wall colour.

The most affordable charger we fit. A universal socket that takes your own cable, so it works with any EV or plug-in hybrid, and a cover in five colours so it suits the house.

  • Solar compatible: ECO mode charges from surplus solar, with a CT clamp fitted

A standard install means the charger is fitted within about 10 metres of the consumer unit, on a single phase supply, with a spare way in the board. If your job needs more than that, we tell you the difference before we start, not after.
