What an install in Newton-le-Willows usually looks like
This is where we are based, so Newton is the town we know best. Between the older housing round Crow Lane and Vulcan Village, the estates off Bradlegh Road and Southworth Road, and the newer builds towards Earlestown, we have fitted chargers on most types of property here.
Being local means we are five minutes away rather than an hour, which matters more after the install than during it. If something needs looking at, you are not waiting a fortnight for a slot.
Vulcan Village and the older Newton stock
Some of the older Newton properties have the meter in an outbuilding or an external box a long way from where you park, which sounds like a problem and usually is not. It just changes where the isolator goes and how the run is planned.

Bailey came out to fit our new EV charger and wow, he's done an amazing, professional job and even swept up after himself! Friendly guy too, defo knows what he's talking about. Will be calling him back when we need other stuff doing. 10 out of 10!
Great price · £1,200–£1,400
We had an EV charger fitted at home, we didn't even know where to start with looking for this. We contacted Newton Electrical and found Bailey so helpful, he explained the pros and cons of different chargers and guided us through to understand EV chargers better. On the day of installation Bailey turned up on time, was very pleasant and worked hard to get the EV charger fitted. Baileys work was very tidy and he cleaned and tidied up after himself. Once the charger was fitted Bailey took the time to show me how to use the app and how to use the charger. Very professional, would highly recommend.
Great price
Newton Electrical fitted my EV charger and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Bailey was knowledgeable, efficient and competitively priced, and his workmanship was really tidy. What I appreciated most was how clearly he explained the whole process, from what he was installing, to how the equipment worked, to what I needed to know for day-to-day use. It made everything feel straightforward and gave me real confidence in the setup.
It's great having a company who are local, accessible, reliable and genuinely care about doing a proper job. Bailey turned up when he said he would, communicated well throughout, and took the time to make sure I understood everything before he left. I'd happily recommend Bailey and Newton Electrical to anyone looking for an EV charger installation or electrical work.

EV chargers in Newton-le-Willows, answered
You are local, does that make it cheaper?
It makes it quicker and it means you can actually get hold of us afterwards. The price is the price, but there is no travel padding on a job five minutes away.
How much does an EV charger cost to install in Newton-le-Willows?
What moves the price is the length of the cable run, whether the consumer unit has a spare protected way, and which charger you go for. We quote on the job rather than guess, so you get the actual number before we start, not after.
How long will it take?
Most home installs are half a day. If the board needs work first we will say so at the quote, so nothing turns into a surprise second visit.
