An EICR, or Electrical Installation Condition Report, is a full health check of your fixed wiring. We inspect, then carry out dead and live testing on every circuit, checking earthing, bonding, cable sizes and RCD operation, and grade any faults so you know what’s urgent and what can wait.
Landlords have to provide a satisfactory EICR every five years or at change of tenancy by law, and letting agents and insurers often ask for one too. Homeowners usually get theirs done every ten years, or before selling. Commercial premises vary, and we’ll advise on the right interval for your shop, office or unit.
You won’t get a report full of jargon from us. We mark up exactly what we found, explain the C1, C2 and C3 codes in plain English, and quote separately for any remedial work. Call us to book a slot.
